Take Penn Out to the Ballgame

The New York Times today ran an article about a guy from New Jersey who likes Bon Jovi and went to Wharton. But unlike everyone else for whom those characteristics apply, he didn't just lose his job at Lehman. Dude went a different way after graduating Penn in 1996: he became a professional baseball player.

Mark DeRosa, the former Penn quarterback who led the Quakers to an Ivy League title, is now the go-to guy for the Chicago Cubs, mostly playing second base and right field. So in honor of DeRosa making waves in the big leagues and of the Times implying that Penn kids can be well-rounded, a song DeRosa, and all of us, really, can appreciate:
