The One Show You Must Watch This Week

I would have said the one show you must watch is the Mad Men season finale, but let's be honest, you were all watching the Phillies destroy the Rays last night. (Sidenote: Joe Blanton hitting a homerun is the World Series equivalent of those rec soccer games when one team was winning 14-0 so they let the goalie out onto the field... and even he scored.) So until you can catch a rerun, you must be satisfied with clips from Jon Hamm's guest stint on SNL, like Don Draper's Guide to Picking Up Women.

This means that the one show you MUST watch this week is the third season premiere of 30 Rock. After all, Tina Fey has given so much to you lately with her portrayal of Sarah Palin. And she is the best comedic actress on the best comedy on TV, according to the Emmy Awards. Would it hurt to show the gal some love, give her a few viewers so the show can make it to a fourth season?

Thanks to NBC's deal with Hulu, the video below is the season premiere, in which Liz tries to impress an adoption agent and Jack tries to get back his job. There is absolutely nothing you have to do except click and enjoy. If you would prefer to watch this on a bigger screen, go to Hulu.com or just wait until Thursday at 9:30 to watch it after the The Office. There are so many options, there is no excuse.

PS- The episode is chock full of wisdom like the following exchange: Jack: We might not be the best people... Liz: But we're not the worst. Jack and Liz: Graduate students are the worst.
