Ticketmaster and Live Nation are possibly days away from a merger. The government may shoot down the deal, if it decides the companies will monopolize ticket sales, concert venues, and artist representation in an illegal way. If it's allowed, though, it will likely mean major cash money for anyone who wants to go to a concert. Upside? You won't have to worry about getting out to the middle of nowhere to see a band at the Electric Factory. Because it will be too expensive.
