Transit Is Our Happy Place

We love Transit. We love it so much we included it in our Best of Penn survey this year. Our scenester friends love it. Our hipster friends love it. Sure, we've heard there are bullet holes in the back door, but whatever. The Spring Garden warehouse-y space is awesomely conducive to huge, sweaty dance parties, and the bars are perfectly spaced along the periphery. Plus the lack of tables makes it oh-so-democratic, not to mention easy to navigate in stilettos.

So we were intrigued when a commenter mentioned it in reference to Fling (note to commenter: SPEC would never throw down there, but thanks for the tip!). A little investigating led us to the discovery that Milkman, aka Gregg Luskin (not to be confused with that other mashup DJ who spells his first name Gregg), is slated to spin at a Penn event the Thursday night of Fling at our beloved Transit. Trendy DJ + Transit + Thursday night of Fling leads us to believe Theos is backing this one. Here's to hoping the line isn't as bad as last year and that the Devil makes another late night appearance.
