Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye!

Ah, Summer Street readers. It's been a long road, but here we are at the junction, ready to leave the days of abbreviated arts and culture news behind for a ride into the ever-receding horizon.

And how will we wrap up our final week of fun, festivities, and taking you out? With food, of course! Whether it's a movie about food magnates and their admirers or our review of the newest Washington Square gastropub, we'll fill your mind-tummies for the last time (until September, of course!).

With the food comes table talk. What would a nostalgic Street wrap-up be without a little self-reflection? Street ed Paul Richards sounds off on his theory on internship abstinence (thanks, Health class!) in our first and last WOTS of the summer, and we present you with the Best of Summer — you've still got a whole month to indulge in our favorite Philly finds.

Last but not least, Rachel Stern-Stein has given us the third and final installment of her memoir, The Intern, and believe you us, you won't want to miss her explosive exit from the internship world.

And now, be brave, young soldiers. Pull yourselves away from your laptops and venture out to the SP newsstand for the last time this summer. But chins up! You know Street won't be gone for long. Summa Street out.
