The Penn Yearbook staff is interested in publishing pictures of you and your friends in this year's issue of The Record. We know what you're thinking: "Fools! They're just going to get a bunch of submissions of drunk students and their late night debauchery." The weird part? They seem to be okay with that. In an email to the Senior Class, the staff called for submissions of photos from various events (yes, even Spring Fling, "parties" and "random photos" count). Images can be submitted to photos@pennyearbook.com, and each submission gets you a raffle ticket to win a free yearbook. Which is a pretty sweet deal, considering they're going for $75 this year. We guess even memories at Penn don't come cheap. Wonder if you can bursar that?

For full details on submitting photos, read the email after the jump.

Dear Class of 2010 Senior,

The Penn Yearbook staff wants to feature YOUR photos in the 148th volume of The Record. From Hey Day to Spring Fling, frat parties to random outings, we want to put your photos in the book. Do you want to see you and your friends in this year's book and possibly win a free yearbook as well? Read on!

Between now and graduation, we will be raffling off 2 yearbooks every 4 weeks. To enter the raffle, all you need to do is send us photos of your time at Penn. These photos will be considered for publication in the 148th production of The Record. More details follow:

General Overview

For each photo you send us, you will receive 1 raffle ticket up to a maximum of 10 tickets. We will be holding 4 raffle groups, and you may enter each one of them with a maximum of 10 tickets. You may send in more than 10 photos if you wish. Our staff will screen photos for quality, and if your photo has been chosen for publication, you will receive an email notification.

What photos are you looking for?

For each raffle group, we will send you a list of events for which we need photos (see below). You can also send us random photos you wish to see printed in the book. Our only requirement is that your photo be at least 300 dpi (resolution) for quality purposes. If there are issues with the content in your photos, we will let you know.

Once your photo has been chosen, we will contact you for more information. For example, we need to identify the major persons in the picture as well as write captions for the picture.

The following lists the events for which we need photos for the first raffle group:
