Unlike the other Green buzzing around Penn, the new stickers you may see around campus are actually doing something pretty cool for the world. The Penn Environmental Group initiative Green Acorn is now certifying local businesses (including restaurants and food carts) for their sustainability practices by putting a cute little acorn up. It's like Zagat decals, only for tree-huggers!
Stop by Copa or Coup de Taco, the first Penn establishments to get certified, if you want to feel less guilty about what you eat. Unfortunately, the guilt about calories still remains, but we're sure some enterprising students will soon come up with a decal for that too.
