Left Bank Wine Bar Will Be Called Biba

As we told you about a while back, a new wine bar is going in at 3131 Walnut (right next to Picnic in the Left Bank building). It's going to be called Biba.
The owners are well-known in Philly food circles for running two popular outposts of wine and cheese bar Tria, at 18th & Sansom and 11th & Spruce. Biba will be smaller than its downtown siblings, with 34 seats (with an additional 12 outdoors when weather allows). The menu will offer 26 affordable wines (score) and 10 beers, as well as light food--think cheese and charcuterie.
It's apparently, maybe, probably not going to open in August.
