Tomorrow's Tailgate: Don't Ask, Don't Tell When Boozing

tailgate-main_full

Now that our football team is "good," or whatever, everyone's trying to make tailgating a thing. Day drinking? We're all for it! But before you go all Southern state school on us, we checked in with some authoritative sources to find out just how shady you'll have to be about your alcohol consumption.

Sources from the Undergraduate Assembly tell us Penn staff involved with the tailgate planning have asked that beverage consumption "be more stealthy during the next event." What does that mean? "Drinking games are probably not good, but bringing beer in to the event concealed by your backpack and then drinking it in a red cup is okay."

With Family Weekend coming up, it's easy to assume Facilities/Penn Athletics/whomever else wants to make sure things stay controlled.  "Until the tradition gets more institutionalized we're going to have to be a bit more low key. They're operating under a "don't ask, don't tell" policy, and in doing so we need to take a little responsibility," our UA buds advise.
Our advice? Get thee to FroGro and buy yourself some red cups.
