Warning: Classroom Might Be Cold

After being informed that JMHH 260 would be "cold," the humanitarian decided to take action. He remained calm and collected under pressure while urging students to prepare for the worst: "I would encourage you all to bring warm enough clothes/hats that you are not cold tomorrow if we are stuck in a cold classroom."

He even displays a rare optimism: "Perhaps it is the same as Monday, which is manageable, but uncomfortable, or perhaps it is colder."

Read the full e-mail (really, it's cute) after the jump.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the late notice, but I wanted you to know that I was just told that our classroom JMHH 260 is quite cold.  I don't know what quite cold means yet and will not know until tomorrow.  Perhaps it is the same as Monday, which is manageable, but uncomfortable, or perhaps it is colder.

So.......please understand that we may be trying to switch classrooms if possible or we may be stuck in JMHH 260.  I won't know until sometime after 8 tomorrow morning.  I would encourage you all to bring warm enough clothes/hats that you are not cold tomorrow if we are stuck in a cold classroom.

I have been told that they expect to repair this tomorrow afternoon, but that of course won't help us.

Thanks for your understanding,

Prof H
