Where To Munch On Munchies Tomorrow

munchies-poster_no-logo_small

Tomorrow marks one of the holiest days of the year: 4/20, the annual celebration of all things green and weed-y. Once you've gotten your smoke on, though, you might too dazed to make a decision about where to feed your sudden appetite. Never fear, UTB is here to guide you through your hungry, sunny state of bliss. We've got some suggestions below about where to nosh on some of the most effective munchie cures. The weather's supposed to be perfect tomorrow, too, so try to get your snacks to go.

Auntie Annes

The time has come to throw your inhibitions to the wind and give in to the delicious scent that is constantly wafting out of 34th Street's favorite pretzel emporium. The cinnamon-sugar coated variety is a perfectly sweet standby, but did you know that their savory options are also delicious? And they come with sauces? Grab an assortment and step on over to College Green.

There's more after the jump.

Chipotle

Some chemical assistance might be all the help you need to finally scarf down an entire burrito in one sitting. Go for the gold (they wrap their burritos in gold foil now!) and take your snack to the high rise field to bask away.

Copabanana

4/20 falls on Copa Wednesday (which one takes precedence??), and that means that huge, greasy, gooey Copa burgers are offered at half-price until 4 pm. Are you thinking what we're thinking? Because we're thinking you should order two (for yourself) and consume them in their outdoor seating area.

Wawa

The holy grail of munchie friendly hotspots. As far as proximity to lovely outdoor areas is concerned, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the 38th and Spruce location (hello, Bio Pond), but just in case lines prove to be too long (and they very well might), the one on 36th and Chestnut does fine in a pinch. This place has everything: milkshakes, made-to-order sandwiches, chips, candy, soda, jerky, fruit, donuts - everything. It's a one stop shop for all your munching needs, but plan ahead - sometimes the wealth of options can get overwhelming, and before you know it, you've spent an hour deliberating between butterscotch krimpets and a 12" meatball hoagie without making any progress.
