Whether you are getting ready to slave away your summer at an internship or grilling poolside, take some time today to remember what Memorial Day is about and commemorate those who lost their lives in military service.
According to the University Archives, Memorial Tower was dedicated in 1901 honor Penn students who served in the Spanish-American War.
