If you answered yes-yes-no, you should consider writing for Under The Button this summer. It's a great way to ease into the world of blogging, which is conveniently located in the world of being cool.
If you become a UTB summer writer or editor, literally everyone that's attractive will make out with you all the time. People will buy you shots even if you're not in a bar. This will happen on such a grand scale that you will pretty much only have time for writing awesome blog posts, making out with hot people, and consuming high-quality liquor. It's a tough life to lead, but someone has to do it.
