Today's edition of "Yummy Noms Coming Soon" dishes up some Mexican fare that won't send you into an temporary coma or require you to wash it down with a bottle of Pepto-Bismol.
Honest Tom's Taco Shop, the tasty taco truck at Clark Park's Saturday farmers' markets, is moving into a permanent space at 261 S. 44th, right by Local 44 and Tampopo. Owner Tom says the brick-and-mortar location, set to open mid to late August, will start out serving dinner while the trucks operates during the day, then add breakfast and lunch as they shut down the truck for winter. Burritos (and potentially tamales) will grace an updated menu, and if it brings in enough bucks, the shop may expand into the building's second floor to accommodate BYOers patronizing the new Local 44 bottle shop. AYEAYEAYE!
