What's HapPENNing?

Seems like that cold gust of wind that grazed your exposed left nip Saturday night blew us into November. Imagine that! We only have six weeks of class left? Sh, it's not true! To help deal with the pain, we're (once again) presenting you with the best events happening around campus this week. Happy (official) Halloween!

Occupy Wharton Who: Penn students When and where: Monday, 1 p.m.; Huntsman Hall Why: Whatever your stance on the Occupy movement, it's kind of a huge deal. Got love for the protesters? Then go support the movement in front of Huntsman! It's so close– you don't even have to go to Center City. Don't like the protesters? Don't be a dick.

President Gutmann's Annual Halloween Party Who: President Gutmann When and where: Monday, 6-7 p.m.; Wynn Commons Why: Did you catch our awesome coverage of Amy Gutmann's HalloWynn Party last year? Boo! Hiss! Amy's party will be a spooky delight filled with free candy and free kshows. That is not a typo.

Kelly Writers House, stop being so amazing! After all, how often do you get to meet an author of over 25 books who's won a laundry list of prestigious prizes in literature and has been a finalist for a Pulitzer?

SPEC-Trum Presents: Theophilus London Who: SPEC-Trum When and where: Friday, 8-11 p.m.; Irvine Auditorium Why: Rapper Theophilus London, along with Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mills, will be gracing us with their presences Friday night in Irvine! Tickets are $15 for PennCard holders if you buy in advance and $25 at the door. Don't miss out!

James Franco! Who: SPEC Connaissance When and where: Sunday, 2-4 p.m.; Irvine Auditorium Why: We know that tickets for this event are already sold out, so let this serve as a reminder for ticket-holders. If you did not buy a ticket: here is a picture of James Franco's latest magazine cover. Discuss.
