Breaking: Ashton Talk Postponed

September 17, 2013 at 10:04 am
This is no news for those of you who read the Penn Almanac first thing in the morning, but we figured we'd break it here anyway: We may have to wait a little while longer--quite possible forever--to hear Ashton Kutcher speak at Penn.
A mere 13 days after announcing the "dialogue" with actor (and venture capitalist!) Ashton, Penn informed us that he's expressing his "sincere apologies" for backing out on us.
We can only hoped that is a bad joke--or, should we say, we can only hope we're being Punk'd.
Please Note: Thank you for your overwhelming excitement for Ashton Kutcher's visit for this years Turner Social Impact Executive Speaker Series. As such, it is with great disappointment that Wharton shares the news that, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr. Kutcher will not be able to join us as scheduled this Wednesday. He has expressed his sincere apologies for having to cancel and they are working with him to find a date to reschedule his visit to Penn in the next few weeks.
