Wharton Senior Named Rising VC Star By Business Insider

17676fc

You know those moments when other Penn kids make you feel inadequate?  Like that time you were really proud of yourself for not drunk eating until you found out your roommate cured cancer and got into four senior societies?  This is one of those moments.

This morning, Business Insider named Wharton senior Steph Weiner a "Rising Star" in the New York City Venture Capital scene, even though she still goes to Penn. Weiner is a founding partner for First Round Capital's Dorm Room Fund and a member of the Weiss Tech House Innovation Fund, where she (essentially) decides which Penn startups don’t totally suck. She also did business development for a solar-powered pontoon boat, has 500+ unpurchased connections on Linkedin, and we’ve already written about her. To quoteth 50 Cent, "Dammmmmn, homie."

So ummmm, Steph, do you wanna Freaky Friday?  We have a copy of Sims 3, over 200 Dining Dollars, and an average of only five points below the mean in Math 104 (okay, Math 103).  Let us know.
