Chance The Rapper Tickets And Other Things That Have Inflated 233%

Since Saturday's Fling headliner reveal, campus has been abuzz with all things Chance. Who is he? How does one win a floor pass? And wasn't he that guy who came for a SPEC-trum concert in 2013?

A few grumpsters have noted that yes, he came in Fall 2013 and tickets were just $15. With Fling tickets going for $50, that means the value of seeing Chance the Rapper at Penn has gone up 233% (that's new minus old over old, English majors!). It seems a little crazy, until you consider the plethora of things that have gone up 233% since 2013:

Number of people going to Harvest

Sinkholes on/around campus

Off campus frats/sororities

Dumbness of the names of off campus frats/sororities

Snapchat use

Donald Trump media coverage (According to our Statistics team that we don't actually have, this is a vast underestimate but whatever)

Places in the country where you can be same-sex married

Investigative reporting about "the scene"

Xenophobia in Europe

Number of people afraid of Chipotle

Amy Gutmann's salary

Amy Gutmann memes

The number of blue (Christmas) balls on Locust

Anxiety about the languishing bee population

Google searches for ways Americans can emigrate to Canada

Zac Efron's abs

Number of coffee shops on campus

Penn squirrel population's aggressiveness

Got any other ideas for things that have gone up 233%? Let us know in the comments!
