Tens, maybe-but-probably-not hundreds, of students on campus rejoiced this evening when Penn men's basketball upset reigning NCAA national champion Villanova and shocked the world (except the three DP sports writers who "predict" every year that Penn will beat 'Nova — they totally called it).

We found one or two students that were genuinely thrilled about the team's win, but the vast majority were excited for a different reason.

"Thank god that We beat Villanova, because, like, I think the Eagles aren't doing so well this season?" said Ambrose Jordan, a senior in Wharton. "I haven't actually watched a game since the Superbowl, but I feel like I would have heard if they were doing well, you know?"

Luckily, Jordan is an avid fan of Penn men's basketball as well. "Last year I supported Our Team so much during their final two games, and now I can keep cheering them on! Hooray! Maybe this year, I will step foot inside the... what's that weird building they play basketball in?"
