Psi Omega Omicron (also known as Bulls, somehow) recently made headlines for shattering its previous record of early-decision applications, as it amassed more than sixty applicants.

“I believe you mean dirty rushing … there’s no such thing as Early Decision out here,” Alan Jeffries (C ’21) said, rather confused.

Bulls is the first frat of its kind to ask its applicants for a common application, as rushes were required to hand in personal statements and partake in interviews at events. This year’s applicants were more competitive than ever, with incredibly impressive stats and extracurricular activities.

We interviewed a few prospective brothers who shared some comments.

“I’m a really big fan of the shotgun approach. I had like seven or eight safety frats, and I knew the brothers would let me in, so it wasn’t really a big issue. Bulls though, that’s a big deal—I had to ED there to maximize my chances. It was college applications all over again,” Jonathan Miller (E ’20) explained.

Others didn’t really hedge their bets. “Bulls was my dream frat and I put everything into that. It’s a shame the brothers didn’t like me in my interview,” Rahul Patel (C '21) said, close to bursting to tears.

Still, there are a few applicants who are shoo-ins. Take, for example, Ed Tatum: with a 4.0 GPA, triple-legacy at Bulls and hailing from the rather underrepresented province of Saskatchewan, Canada, there is really no doubt that he is going to get a decision (what some intellectuals may mean by "pledge").

We would like to congratulate, in advance, everyone who is granted admission in the Early Decision cycle, and we wish the best of luck to all other applicants for RD.
