New job alert! Penn A Cappella group Counterparts is currently looking for someone to oversee and maintain all of their instruments.
The urgent listing comes after the group was forced to sing on multiple occasions in performance without any additional musical instruments. How embarrassing!
The job listing states that an ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a vivid imagination. Applicants should be familiar with the technical requirements of instruments such as the air guitar and muted drums.
Instead of financial compensation, the position is rewarded with 24/7 access to Counterparts. The instrument manager would be able to summon the group with the snap of their fingers for any reason. The possibilities are endless, such as adding some background music to everyday life or even serenading a loved one.
