Amazing: Senior Just Took a Major W on Transcript

It’s been a rough semester for Tony Tran (E ’19).
After weeks of non-stop recruiting and programming assignments, the NETS major decided he needed to take a W.
“I’ve been grinding so hard these past few days, and I really needed a morale booster. Taking a dub in CIS 595 was a great decision,” Tran explained.
When we followed up with CIS 195 Professor Jimmy Marshall, he said he expected nothing less from Tran. “Many people take Ws in this course, and I completely understand why. The workload is insane, so sometimes you just have to decide what’s best for you,” Marshall said.
It can only go up from here for Tran. He has redefined his purpose, and now has 25 extra hours every week to fulfill it.
