Philly will no longer be lacking in the fro-yo trend. According to various Philly blogs, Yogorino will be opening shortly on 20th and Locust, in the space that used to be Sushi on the Square. There's no word on when the Italian tangy frozen yogurt shop will open (and no answer at the phone number listed on the website). As much as we hate to link here, Foobooz reports that a Yogorino awning is now up at the storefront.

While parrots and the like have consumed most of the attention surrounding the button today, the scene was more playful by around 4 p.m.

Forget about shootings near campus and other violent crimes; there seemed to be a hazardous situation in Houston Hall just after the lunch rush hour today. The beverage coolers in the back (ya know, right by the candy station) were covered in yellow caution tape.

Penn's admissions office released its Early Decision results today at 3 p.m. We're sure Dean of Admissions Lee Stetson Eric Furda and his crew will do a stellar job providing us with some new freshmen to fill the class of 2013. Our friends over at the DP did some number crunching. Some of their more interesting findings included that there were 40 less applications from Harvard-Westlake California and also a clear drop in the number of overambitious tools students who applied to Wharton.

Friends, family, and criminals alike...we bring you the next installment of UTB's very own crime log. Here are this week's highlights:

Just a friendly service report from the dungeon that is Rosengarten during the week before Reading Days: the printer is broken. Annoying as this is, there's no need to fret. We sent our stuff to the printer in Weigle. It's a trek, but well worth it.

If you're anything like me, your Thanksgiving means sleeping until noon, and then hanging around the house in pajamas. I ventured out to lunch, but it was cold out. And I don't understand football.

Now, we don't mean to be inappropriate, but we felt just a bit awkward when we navigated over to the Penn website today and we were greeted by this curiously-angled picture.

This is more or less the most socialist thing to come out of Germany ever, aside from, well, the whole Iron Curtain thang. The government shut down the entire German Wikipedia for two days after an article said political figure Lutz Heilmann was "sending threatening text messages to his ex-partner and stated that Heilmann was about to lose his diplomatic immunity. There have indeed been rumors that Heilmann is under investigation by the German parliament because of these reports, though other statements in the article about the questionable status of his college degree and his involvement in an online pornography venture are rather questionable."

In UTB's newest feature, Button Blotter, we note West Philadelphia's biggest and baddest (okay, at least the most amusing) crimes, as published in our favorite source of legitimate campus news (also known as our parent publication), The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Um, last time we checked, the GOP's only remaining chance at winning was taking Pennsylvania. We know it's raining, but seriously...ONE person?

If you log on to Facebook as much as we do, you might have noticed the invitation to receive free coffee at Starbucks tomorrow for voting in the election. Our good friends at Starbucks seem to be even more desperate for business than Ben and Jerry's: they don't even want proof that you voted! If you "tell them" you voted, you'll get a tall (otherwise known as a small everywhere but Starbucks) coffee on the house. It's nice to have someone who believes in us, we guess.
