Tired of your boring old date night where you drink the worst champagne money could buy? Well, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) has a solution for you.

This week, eager Penn Dems members were seen sliding poorly cut flyers under doors in the Quad for Casey's most promising campaign event yet. “We're hosting a Campaign and Shackles,” Casey's communications representative told UTB. “It’s like a rally, but you get to dress up and post it to your Instagram story that everyone watches it but hates themselves for doing so. And then you degenerates can go get plastered on a Tuesday night.”

“I designed the flyer myself,” said one proud student, with what appeared to be Microsoft Paint. “I just looked up some clip art images of handcuffs and I threw it on a nice mosaic background and bam!” Apparently, while the competition amongst Penn Students for a finance internship with the Casey campaign was tough, graphic design was not.

While polls put Senator Casey ahead of Lou Barletta the race for the U.S. Senate, this date night may be just the blatant pandering strategy that could put him over the edge in November.
