We're not sure if you know this, but UTB is a part of the illustrious Daily Pennsylvanian news organization. We're 34th Street's blog, and Street is the DP's magazine. So, there you go.
Tonight and tomorrow night the DP will be holding information sessions, and we'll be there! See the deets below.
The What: Daily Pennsylvanian Info Sessions The When: Tuesday (tonight!) & Wednesday (tomorrow night!), 4:30 for business/6:00 for editorial The Where: 4015 Walnut Street (Walnut between 40th and 41st, down the way from Fresh Grocer and across the street from Marathon Grill) The Realz: The Tuesday sessions and the Wednesday sessions are exactly the same, so come to whichever one fits your schedule best. The business info sessions (at 4:30) will have reps from Advertising, Ad Design, Credit, Finance and Marketing. The editorial info sessions (at 6:00) will have reps from News, Sports, Copy, Photo, Design, Web, Video and 34th Street/Under the Button (that's us!). You're more than welcome to attend both the biz and editorial meetings, if you're so inclined. The Even More Realz: Street will be having its first writers' meeting of the semester this Thursday at 6:30, also at 4015 Walnut. Pencil us in, but we'll also remind you later this week.
