Lunar New Year Goes Guerilla

Lunar-New-Year-Decorations

According to a tipster, the University's Lunar New Year celebrations--which were previously hosted by Harnwell's East Asia House--were dropped this year. To add insult to injury, no substitute event was planned! Messed up. Luckily, Penn students are kinda industrious. The tipster claims that a few students "gathered together in the middle of the night to talk about holding an event ourselves to commemorate this major holiday." Sounds exciting.

We salute you, last-minute lunar planners. The event is set for this Thursday, February 11th in Houston Hall. Not sure about you, but we're ready to get our Lion Dance on.
