The South Street Bridge Is Back! Be The First To Cross It

In what has to be one of the most exciting things ever, the legendary South Street Bridge is finally functioning once again starting at 2 p.m. today. It will be open just to bikers and pedestrians for a full hour before cars will be permitted to cross, and we know you want to be the first one to walk or bike across it. A ceremony will also be held at 3 p.m. so all you bridge enthusiasts ought to check that out as well. West Philly, get ready to be reconnected to Center City in ways you haven't been since 2008.
