SAC Un-Funded

Things you won't see at the Student Activities Fair today: new SAC-funded groups. The branch responsible for doling out funds to student groups has announced a moratorium on any new groups trying to get recognized. What does this mean for the "Robots and Pizza" or "Ancient Chinese Instruments and Also Skiing" clubs of the future? Unclear "due to budget constraints for the rest of the semester."

Apparently this hasn't happened in anyone's recent memory, so it's an interesting sign of the current financial times. This won't affect currently funded groups, but it's still a pretty sober situation.
