With A Taste Of A Poison Paradise

Philadelphia, don't you know that you're toxic? It's in the air and it's all around–at least according to Forbes' list of America's 10 Most Toxic Cities, where our fair city comes in at the Number One spot of yuckiness.

Apparently the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington region has more than 50 Superfund sites, which are areas no longer in use due to hazardous waste. We'd say let's put the "Super-fun" back in "Superfund," but it seems like we're just one total trihalomethane short of unleashing a giant pollution monster. We're not saying you need to walk down Locust in a gas mask or anything, but now might be the time to invest in a Brita filter.
