If you haven’t yet fulfilled your Physical World requirement, read on. Earth and Environmental Science Professor Ben Horton (who has taught GEOL 130 in the past) recently discovered that the East Coast sea level has been rising at an unprecedented rate compared to what has been observed throughout the past two millennia. Horton credits this rapid hike to the effects of global warming, but we’re waiting for him to admit that his good looks (and British accent) are also to blame for the steamy weather.
