Clark Park "A" Reopens; Hipsters Too Apathetic To Rejoice

clark-park

Fortuitously coinciding with a recent spell of kinda beautiful weather, today marks the seven-month delayed reopening of one of Penn kids' favorite examples of how "of course we get out of the bubble, duh."

Clark Park "A," the section of the (soon-to-be-overshadowed) West Philly oasis at 43rd and Baltimore, is all shiny and new for your engagement in alternative leisure activities.

Have a vegan picnic on the new tables and chairs! Crochet some knee-high socks or take part in a drum circle under the newly planted trees! Or celebrate by stopping by the Uhuru Flea Market on Saturday, even though it takes place in the boring and now totally less relevant "B" section of the park.
