SEPTA's Warning You

AJ Thomas Friday, Oct. 14, 2011Fri, Oct 14, 2011

SEPTA has recently partnered with the Philadelphia district attorney's office to warn mass-transit riders against faking injuries. Injury claim payouts have increased by more than ten percent so now they're trying to crack down on scams by airing PSAs with footage from faked injuries.

Thanks to newer cameras on buses and trolleys, the PSAs can show a guy board a bus after it was in an accident and fake a leg problem. Heed SEPTA's warning and maybe YOU can stop an injury scammer!
