Penn Alumna Graces the Emmy Stage

Last night's 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were filled with drama, upsets and naked Lena Dunham. Luckily, 1990 College graduate Meredith Stiehm was spotted onstage triumphantly. Stiehm is a writer for the Showtime drama Homeland, which cleaned up with statues for stars Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, as well as for best drama series. She was among the producer's thank yous and looked ever-so-appreciative in a shimmering black gown.

Congratulations to Meredith and Homeland for beating Mad Men! It almost makes up for the blasphemous Emmy snub of "other Penn alum" Kristen Wiig. So FREAKIN' unfair.
