Before you buy those Rave tickets for Monsters University in 3D, check this. Every Thursday night from June 27th to August 15th (minus the 4th of July), there'll be outdoor screenings of some classic '80s movies at Drexel Park.
So if you're lookin' for somewhere to bring your SO, are tired of the butter laden air of a cramped theater, or are just short on cash, head over to 32nd and Powelton for a grand ol' time. All shows start at dusk. Here's what's coming up:
- June 27 | Adventures in Babysitting
- July 11 | Spaceballs
- July 18 | Pee Wee's Big Adventure
- July 25 | Die Hard
- August 1 | Batman
- August 8 | A Nightmare on Elm Street 3
- August 15 | The NeverEnding Story
