New UCity Noms For Fall

Still mourning the loss of Lee's? Dry those tears and prepare your stomach for two new additions to the University City food scene (Subway is exciting, but these places look even more promising):
Wishbone: Come October a fancy-but-not-too-fancy fried chicken restaurant by Drexel grads will be moving in to Lee's beloved former home at 4034 Walnut. The goal: take everyone's favorite comfort food and turn it into a fine dining experience without being too "pretentious."
HipCityVeg: In September HipCityVeg is expanding and coming to town. Just around the Rave corner and seven paces down from Smoke's, vegan foodies will have a new trendy eatery that's just a teensy bit classier than Kings Court Dining Hall.
