The Daily Show Is Coming To Penn

The Daily Show is coming to Penn and you might get to watch it live.

BUT WAIT, before you jizz your pants – the show will be filming at the Annenberg Center from  July 26 through July 29, during which most of us will be slaving away at summer internships.

Nonetheless, this is a valuable opportunity to engage with American politics on a deeper, more derisive level. The show will be stopping at Penn as part of their two-week coverage of the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, which will air nightly at 11p.m. ET on Comedy Central.

“As someone who knows almost nothing about how American politics works,” said Noah, “I look forward to spending two weeks with people just like me.”

Here at UTB, we’d like to politely disagree with Noah. As the representative news agency of the entire city of Philadelphia, we have made the conscientious effort to be the voice of reason throughout this Presidential election. Incidentally, we hope that Noah will provide the appropriate screen time to our very own Vermin Supreme.

Tickets for the tapings are free and available through the Daily Show convention ticket website. Alternatively, Penn students can relive SPEC ticketing trauma by entering a lottery at this link.
