Fling is upon us people! That means carnivals, bouncy houses, food trucks, and frat parties galore. But, let’s be honest, what really matters is what’s going on outside of campus – downtowns. And this year, Penn’s hottest party is...the St. A’s and Theos Pool Party!
...but rocking your partially-summer-ready-swimsuit-bod at this shindig isn’t cheap. Rumor has it that people are spending up to $275 for a ticket. $275! To put this in perspective, that’s approximately 6 Fling concert tickets, 1/3 of a Canada Goose, 122 pizza slices from Allegro’s, a decent bribe for a summer internship, and 34 Copa margaritas – for a pool party.
Although frankly we aren’t too surprised, considering that during Fling people spend money on the dumbest things – even $20 to go inside the Quad. For $275, all we have to say is that A’s and Theos better have an open in-pool bar and a giant inflatable swan.
