Where To Go On Valentine’s Day If You’re Tryna

Valentine’s Day is on Friday, and everyone at UTB has plans. We understand that not everyone is as #blessed (read: active on Tinder) as we are, so we’ve compiled a list of University City deals for any and all types of V-days.

Where To Go on Valentine’s Day If You’re Tryna:

Get some: Distrito or Aksum. Distrito is offering three different four-course tasting menus that cost $50-$65 per person. Aksum is offering a four-course prix fixe dinner for $55 per person. Save these for someone special (i.e. the author of this post who previously lied and in fact has no plans and really likes Aksum).

Eat your feelings: The Farmacy. They are offering a six-course tasting menu for $60 per person or $100 for a couple. Or Wawa. Always Wawa.

Get dumped: Hill. Bon Appetit is sponsoring a couple’s dinner at Hill. Just, no.

Find love: King’s Court. King’s Court is having a single’s mixer. Imagine your rehearsal dinner—"we met while I was putting ice cream on top of my waffle." Tearing up, y’all.

Get drunk: Tap House. Tap is having a five-course event on Sunday at 6 p.m. with five different beers from the famous Russian River Brewery of Santa Rosa, CA along with five courses of food. Or you could just buy a forty and a slice of buffalo chicken pizza from Allegro.

Eat an overpriced meal and leave unhappy: Penne (as always). They are having a $50 prix fixe menu. But wait—it is a meager $35 from 5-6 p.m. Amazing!

Win Life: Saladworks. Fridays are Fiesta Fridays (duh), where you get a salad with lettuce, tomatoes, chicken, olives, cheddar, and tortilla chips for a measly $6.99 with tax. **Drops the mic.**
