The UA sent out an email this morning notifying Penn students that the universitywill be throwing down against Dartmouth to see which school will have the higher voter turnout next Tuesday. Apparently, the point of this duel is to "show the student body at Dartmouth College why Penn rocks and why they went to the wrong Ivy League school." Since New Hampshire is only worth 4 electoral votes and Pennsylvania is worth 21, it would appear that they did in fact go to the wrong school in terms of swing state-age. Politically-aware burn!
I would have said the one show you must watch is the Mad Men season finale, but let's be honest, you were all watching the Phillies destroy the Rays last night. (Sidenote: Joe Blanton hitting a homerun is the World Series equivalent of those rec soccer games when one team was winning 14-0 so they let the goalie out onto the field... and even he scored.) So until you can catch a rerun, you must be satisfied with clips from Jon Hamm's guest stint on SNL, like Don Draper's Guide to Picking Up Women.

A la Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Scholastic is offering five Harry Potter fans the chance to fly to Edinburgh, Scotland, to have tea with J.K. Rowling. The blessed event will be on Dec. 4, the day The Tales of Beedle the Bard is released. (If you don't know what that is, don't bother entering the contest.)
