Local Asian-American Zhangzhang (Tony) Zhang (W/C/E ‘29) reported this week that he would really be interested in grabbing a cup of coffee some time whenever you’re able, citing his long-held passion for consulting/medicine/founding a startup. He was allegedly very interested in your experiences as a brother in PCT/PhiDE/the Wharton Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club, and also wanted to know if you could give him some tips on how to ace his interview?

“Believe me,” he stated, “as someone who’s also gone through the rat race, I know what it’s like to struggle. If there’s anything I learned from my experiences as the concertmaster of my junior high orchestra/an Asian kid at a plurality-white high school in the Bay Area/the founder of a local non-profit organization that ceased operating after my acceptance into Penn, it’s that being tenacious/empathetic/high-agency is a valuable character trait!” Zhang concluded by stating that “solving the world’s most complex problems/helping the world’s most vulnerable people/creating things that people all over the world want has been [his] singular interest during his one semester at Penn so far.”

At press time, Zhang left your last LinkedIn message on delivered after you informed him that you were very sorry, but you couldn’t offer him any referrals.
