Freshman Po Thead (C '24), a self-proclaimed connoisseur of cannabis, is excited that Pot Truck will be reopening.

With the end of Quiet Period, Penn has decided that it is in the students’ best interest to reopen Pot Truck.

“We know quarantine is extremely hard for all students,” said Provost Wendell Pritchett. “As a result, we want to reopen Pot Truck so that students have something to do and have some way to relieve academic and social stress.”

For Thead, going to Pot Truck has been a long-awaited dream since high school.

“I knew that Penn had a wide variety of food trucks. But of all the colleges that I considered, Penn was the only college that had a marijuana truck,” said Thead. “As soon as I saw that, I knew immediately that I must attend Penn.”
